Saints have been hampered for most of the season by the injuries in the halves. IMO Wilkin's a reasonable 2nd row but he's no halfback.

Big difference is we never put Newton up on a pedestal and laid claim to him being this "amazing" player many of your fans believe Cunningham to have been. We also don't resort to childish abusive insults when someone posts something we don't agree with.

to be honest you need a few good/average players in your team to win a grand final , they are the players that fit you under the cap whilst playing as good as overpaid aussies at other clubs,Prescott and Goulding definaltey fit into this category, kind of like hargreaves has been for Saints, you say hes average but you will miss him when hes gone .

I think you've got wrong of the stick mate, i never said teams don't need the so called average players because every team needs those types of players, i was stating that i don't think the likes of goulding, prescott etc are great players.

great or not they are the type that form part of a team that win Grand finals, unsung heroes that roll there sleeves up week in week out.
