| Quote: Judder Man "Agreed, you would think beating a team once in a play off, would be enough.
An example Saints 80-0 Warrington first game, Saints 20-22 Warrington (Controversial Penalty) second game..........Warrington go through.'"
Like Saints would ever beat Warrington 80-0.

| Serious question. Are you worried about having to face us, twice probably?
With our pathetic record against you in SL, you could be forgiven for relishing the game(s) to come, but how much doubt is there in your minds when you see the way we played against Leeds, whilst also knowing that our run HAS to come to an end at some point. That elimination semi final could be a proper nail biter and a fitting good bye (riddance in our case ) to Knowsley Road.

| Wire by 50 still. The 4-5 players they will bring in will want to impress. Smart coaching.
Its a good idea leaving Lee Briers at home. If they let him breathe on any naked flames this week it could result in a nasty accident.

I can't speak for any other Saints fan but for myself I'm no more worried about meeting Wire once or twice in the playoffs than I am about meeting anyone else. Anyone and everyone could knock us out. After all, we are one of the few teams in the league to have lost to Catalans Dragons this season (oh, so are you!). We are perfectly capable of being beaten by all and sundry. However, we have also played small moments of magnificent rugby league and against you, Wigan and Leeds we have shown great heart, even when losing our halfbacks. So, basically, I fear everyone and no-one. It all depends upon which Saints turn up at each match and whether we can keep a halfback healthy for the duration. One is definitely out for the season (whatever some Saints fans are wishfully thinking) but fingers are crossed that Kyle doesn't go limping off again.

what she said ^^
But seriously i dont think were scared of warrington
Were defiantly wary of you and how you can play but if Saints turn up they can be unstoppable!
Against warrington attack will need to be very good though as at the weekend your defence was superb

| The top three, plus Leeds, are all capable of turning each other over. It's not worth worrying about until we see who plays who and what team takes the field.
The others will have to play out of their skins for 3 games in a row, and whilst possible, I'm not sure they are capable of it.

| If we beat Wire at home - we're happy.
If we beat Wire away - we're happy.
If we lose to Wire away - we're unhappy.
If we lose to Wire at home - we're devastated.
The slight possibility of the LAST ever match to take place at Knowsley Rd being a Saints defeat to Wire is enough to make me think finishing third isn't too bad at all.

| the only other benefit to finishing 2nd is that if Wigan lose in Wk1, we become the club call team and can choose who we play in the Semi final.

We'd still have that if we finish 3rd and win (provided Wigan lost too)
The likelihood is we'll definitely get Warrington twice before we got to a potential Grand Final - I can't see Wigan picking Warrington or Saints in week 3 (provided whoever loses in week 1 does get through).. unless Leeds really fire that is.

| I really think Huddersfield will have a big say in the finals series. They are coming good at the right time and at present appear to have more fit bodies than any of the other teams.

Good post, and this is exactly why it promises to be a thrilling play-off series. You've got Wire, Saints, Pies and Leeds, all of whom can beat each other on any given day, then the likes of Hull, Hull KR and Hudds who are all capable of causing an upset. Very exciting!!

| Lets hope for better crowd figures this year. Appreciate it's no the be-all-and-end-all but any games involving the current top 8 should draw some excellent support. Plus this year, there is realistic possibility we could see a new variant in the Grand Final fixture.
