If the back spasm was near his spine then he is mighty tough for getting up to go off the pitch, it's the most agonizing thing I've ever experienced. He'll be fine if it was just a spasm though.

My back spasmed badly last August. Couldn't stand up straight for a 4 days. Bloody painful.

Wheeler and Moore at 6 & 7 maybe? Apprently Flannery has played at 6 in the past too but personally I dont like the idea of that.

Pryce should be back if it was just a back spasm (no matter how painful at the time). Eastmond won't be. In fact, if all it takes is one run to set that injury off, we may not see him again this season. However, if Pryce doesn't return, there are probably some options. We could play Lee Gaskell and see what he is made of. We could stick Wello in at halfback assuming he regains his Wigan/Salford form or we could stick with Roby/Moore and see if that bears any fruit.
Lomax played at fullback but Wello started out as a halfback before moving to fullback so I suppose Lomax is a possibility. It depends on whether he's played in the position before. He certainly has a neat sidestep coming on and he seems to get everywhere. It's who would organise us that would be the problem. That's the bit we are really missing if we don't have Eastmond or Pryce available.
It's looking increasingly like our season is sliding down the pan again. But maybe things will turn out ok.

for the love of god no !!!! He is way too slow for that. Wello's days of playing in the halves are well and truely gone.
I forgot about Wheeler being injured [iagain[/i Trying to look on the bright side it might be interesting to see how Gaskell does if he gets a chance, I assume Ellis is injured? watched him in pre season and he impressed me. |

Ellis has been injured for ages.
Lee Gaskell seems to have been giving everyone who has watched him a buzz. Now I know that playing at first grade is an entirely different beast but since we are down to the bare bones then we may as well give him a try. He's our only remaining halfback option. |

It about time wilkin remembers which team he plays for and got is backside onto the pitch. He doesnt work for the BBC he plays for saints and he could give us an option at 6. In his interview in the programme about 2 weeks ago he said he didnt have a match in mind when he should be returning!!!!
Players with broken legs and arms have returned sooner than him.
There is nobody pushing theys boys back on the pitch never got this with Anderson!

Cant agree with you there pal. All players want to play and being injured is frustrating. Wilkin will play when the medical team say he can and not before, playing players against medical advice is stupid for both the player and the club |

Or Foster on the Wing and lomax in at 6 - I think he was a halfback at junior levels, I think Rogues would confirm it. |
