I agree - other than his loose carry near the end he was very good. Problem is, it was a MASSIVE error, and he seems to make key handling errors like that quite often.

Only against Leeds really that I can remember. He's been very good all year though, bouncing off tackles a lot more.
Fair play to Graham though, you could see how exhausted he was at the final whistle. Be very interesting to see him next year when he doesn't have to do it all on his own with Perry on the way. Think he could be even more effective if he was spelled better.

Did you notice he and Cunningham with their arms around each other at the end of the match?
All the players yesterday deserve praise for producing a fantastic spectacle, in probably the best game of the season so far.'"
Going off thread but I do agree about Fielden, probably the best game I have seen him play for a long time. As for Carney, top quality and I would like to see more ex players from the recent passed who are still up to date with the rules, commentate on our great game, maybe ask a couple of ex players from the 2 teams featuring live that week to add a bit spice/banter.

| Yeah - I can imagine Seu Seu and Barry Mac commentating on Wigan v Leeds right now... HBO Box Office I suspect.

He had a D&V bug all week so I'm sure he was more than just tired. He looked really ill.

I think he was on his knee's because some Wigan prat threw something at him. Every team has the odd idiot supporter though

He was talking in the context of intensity. That was a very, very intense match and yes, it reminded me of Origin. We've no Billy Slaters over here but it's unlikely the Aussies will have another one for a while either as the bloke's an RL freak. However, I think so far as the intensity level at which that game was played, he was spot on to compare the two.
I like Carney. He's smart, he can actually string sentences together, he knows the game, he has a sense of humour and he comments intelligently. I don't always agree with his opinion, but I have come to believe that his opinion is well informed and insightful.

| He's Irish, that's good enough for me, oh and he played for Wigan.
Very articulate and witty, a bit like myself.

For us, Jammer crept into the game in the fist half, but really made an impact when he came back on for his 2nd stint. Apparently he wasn't very well before the game so credit to him for getting stuck in.'"
Fielden by plenty for mine.
Graham looked somewhat ill throughout the game but as per, great effort.
