Just a word of caution. As someone who's watched Soliola all his career up to now, he's always played well for the Kiwis. He was brilliant and terrible over the years at the Roosters. Sure, he can hit, but he has struggled with his positioning and lateral play.

The defence on both sides were brutal, the much celebrated runners in both sides didn't have much of an impact. He'll be sensational in SL next season, built like a house he's got to play Back row with Puletua - a mouth watering partnership next year.

Seemed ok last night. I think the thought of having just a giant of a man who is capable of making people bounce off him is enough to satisfy me just now! That'll do nicely. So long as we can sort out some pace, two wingers and our kicking game then I'm happy to have Soliola beating down the opposition.

soliola, as I said in thread when you signed him is a soild player! he's not played a great deal of backrow but you can see him in the pack! your defence was awesome at the back end of the year he'd only gonna make it better! thought he was quality last night

If he is played in the backrow You are going to have an awesome pack next season.

In the last two months of the NRL season, Moimoi was, without doubt, the best forward in the competition. In my opinion, depite being on the losing side, he was the best player on the pitch in the Grand Final.

He is a completely different player to the Moimoi who was flattened by Burgess two years ago - vastly improved.

I read somewhere that moi moi was rated one of best props in the world on his recent form.

I'd defo have him at saints. I'd also have more of the kiwis.

Can we not just have all the Kiwis?

I think I'm going to find a corner and cry. I'm not looking forward to those 2 running at us next year. Or seeing the remains of our players after a big hit from them.

Still the only saving grace is we have little Tommy to sort them out and cut them in half like he did to Mauri.
