| I thought last night Tony P played ok but generally speaking I don't think he has shown the form of his first few matches since he had that virus. Whether he's lazy or not I don't know, but sometimes he sure has looked like he's been avoiding the work.

| I think he's been pretty consistent for most of the season. If you're expecting him to be throwing tacklers off every game then you have to allow for him not being as good every game. It's impossible for the guy to be breaking tackles left, right and centre every time he comes on the pitch. His yardage making has been pretty consistent and without him we'd have struggled even more.
Typical fickleness. Lose a game or two and it's the coach, the tactics, players not giving their all etc.

| I don't think tony p has had the impact the club was looking for. Fair enough he makes good yards and he adds size to what's a small pack but if I'm being honest I think he's been a let down.
I think he is little lazy or bit half hearted at times. Him being half hearted resulted in ablett getting over for his try last night. Tony p should have rapped him up.

| I just dont see this laziness from tony, for me he is phenominal and his stats back it up, he's one of our top tacklers, metre makers, carrier, tackles bust, gives away very few penalties, lots of offloads (have come down since he was moved to prop) and allthis playing most of the season out of position. The best import into the league this year.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
It hasn't!!!!!!!!!!!
8.64 metres/carry is one of the best in the entire league!!!
Jammer gets 7.21
Peacock gets 7.28
Morley gets 8.03
Some fans seem to see what they want to!

So you are telling me his lack of effort can be excused because he's out of position!
Tell that to most of the players who have played out of position this year then!
No excuse I'm afriad.'"
Lack of effort? Nonsense. He didn't have a bad game at all. Not spectacular, but made plenty of yards.
You can't ignore the fact that he's not playing in his natural position. He's devastating when he has a bit of room to work with out wide, but it's a different ball game up the middle. The equivalent player at Leeds is Lauitiiti, and I dare say he wouldn't do anywhere near as much damage if he was moved to prop either.

Hang on mate thats way out of line.
If you look back at the thread re Tony P much earlier in the season you'll see I said he was overrated then.
