We do look tired, we probably are, AP wouldnt make us look less tired is all I am saying, its jsut the rigours of a season of the team being pulled around in diff positions, chaps playing out of position etc etc...
Jammer isnt human, he is a transformer.

| We were slow getting back for restarts against Hudds so maybe there is a conditioning issue.

Or maybe it's a players revolt, the only way they can let vent any feelings, by not playing as a team anymore. Or is it that the rest of the league have watched and learned, how to play us and win. You decide, I know which I one I think it is.

| remember potters roots.
He came from the bradford school of coaching.
So plenty of weights, bulk and 5 dirves and a kick isn;t a suprise is it?
sadly, such methods work all too well when you have a strong?first choice pack.

Right, take 2 of the 3 main props out we have and lose our starting scrum half and both hookers and what would you do?

I take it you missed the question mark at the end of my post. Also if I could come up with a better plan than "do your best" I'd be in coaching and not in building services.

I do wonder what some Saints speccies demand they see? Only the best free-flowing rugby league week in, week out? Where a team have failed if they don't outscore their opponents by at least 60 points, with every member of the team scoring twice in an exhibition of majestic rugby league unseen on this Earth - nay, this Galaxy?
You could put Wayne Bennett, Craig Bellamy, DA, Phil Gould or the Messiah himself in charge of this Saints team but we won't win sh*t without Props or a settled half-back combination. Neither of which we've had for the majority of this season. As soon as the more intelligently challenged members of this board accept this, the better it'll be for the club, the fans, the youngsters trying their best and the coach trying his hardest in the face of a crippling injury list.
But hey, none of this matters when we can just [size BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO[/size the players for 80 minutes, does it? Because we're Saints fans and we demand perfection.

We really have to be some of the worst fans in the game of RL. Our expectation levels are so high you'd think we'd walked the GF the last 2 seasons, not bottled it.

Too right. Geez, imagine how bad it would get if we weren't only off top spot by points difference and a shedload of points ahead of Wigan.
Fact is we've been doing it very very tough with key injuries in key positions and the natural back up players for these positions spending time on the physio bench too.
Most of the people who are now ripping into the team were the same people saying we have a magnificent set up and a golden era ahead when we won at Wire. Eastmond was the messiah, now he's a clueless soft-a[ir[/ise and we're doomed.
I still wouldn't bet against us winning the title if we get some troops back, but a part of me doesn't think most of the booing morons who seem to inhabit KR these days deserve it.

| Neither do they deserve it, they probably wouldn't see it either. To busy looking up to the heavens, mouths open BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOing the team. Either that, or day dreaming of this Godly, utopian RL I seem to have missed these last 5 years, that they demand outright as soon as they pay their money.

| Quote: Carlos Alberto " You actually make me want to cry ..... I've watched and supported Saints since I was taken to the '61 cup final aged 10. Have seen good bad and indifferent Saints teams from the winning combo's of '61 and '66 through the lean years of the early 70's when the cries from the "pop" side were of "Come on the easy six" to the resurgence of this great club and teams of the of the 80's and 90's. Finally watching some of the most talented and courageous players and teams of the post super league era that we now have. And guess what..... nothing has changed in all of this time. The players, the coach, and the supporters, all in their time get bagged and slagged by each other. Part of being a supporter that you come to understand that players, coaches and supporters come and go, for whatever reason, but the club remains. It's not about winning or losing, its about the style, the flair and the passion not about reminding the players of 2 "bottled" GF's Truely amazing to say expectation levels are so high, then come up with bottling grand finals. Rant over.......... for now
