DOB 1st july 1977, will make him 32 in a week, and he will play most of next year as a 32 year old. A bit picky i know, but basically 2 years younger than you make out. |

I've said for a while we need someone of Cayless's '05/'06 vintage to replace him with, if this can be done I'll be very happy, if not we're not going to really struggle either. |

We went into this season with around £100k to spare (IIRC).
Cayless is as good as off, Long is gone. We have reward some promising juniors, but I would imagine we will still have a massive amount of space to fill should a top draw prop come forward.
Looking as it stands now, we haveEmmitt
Frodsham[/i
and Joynty Mk II stepping up when needed.
Frodsham and Emmitt are still largely unproven, although I like the looks of Emmitt more. I don't like the idea of Clough stepping up to the front row as much.
IF we can squeeze a top draw grafter like Cayless, or a complete ogre like O'Meley, we should. |
