No, I didn't see the game last night.
Even so, just as a couple of good performance does not make you a world beater, a couple of poor one does not make you rubbish either.
You can be the best half back in the world, if you are playing behind beaten forwards, then you've no chance. |

IF Long leaves at the end of the season, we will need someone at halfback to help bring Eastmond/Wheeler et al through as they will probably not be ready to make the No 7 shirt their own next year.
IF Smith does not seem up to the task (he may not even be available) and IF we could get Thorman on the cheap and IF he would sign for just one year, then yes, IMO, it would be a decent short-term move.
I'm all for giving the young lads a go, but they need old heads around them and losing Long (and possibly Gidley, Cunningham and Cayless too) would seem them woefully exposed. |

I'd be tempted to give lynch a go. He is good hard working prop but not sure if he is good enough to replace JC.
It's shame JC is so injury prone as he was class for us when fit.
If meli was out of contract I'd replace him with tadulala.
