| Quote: Saddened! "It's a good point. You lot on here spend so much time talking up the likes of Eastmond, Wheeler, Lomax and co yet none of the coaches trust them as far as they can throw them. None of them, bar Smith, has ever had anything resembling a run in the first team. Why Eastmond plays once every two months is beyond me, if he's as good as is claimed he should be playing now.'"
Smith had the advantage of Long being out injured for a period, something the others you've mentioned haven't had.

| Tough call to drop Longy, he normally plays well against Wigan. But, I'd definitely give Eastmond a game next week, whether that be starting or on the bench. He'd give us a spark that we lacked tonight.

So we are planning on waiting until Long retires in order to see if the kids are capable? Strange way to do things.

He'll be invloved surely after his last couple of preformences against us.
Any way of fitting both him and Long in?

| Yeah. Lets get rid of Long and KC now before its too late
Just to be a devil. When KC was on the pitch tonight the Bulls scored all their points. When he was off we scored 26 of our 30.
Oh yeah get rid of Wello, Gardner, Gilmour, Meli, ..............as well.

You're talking far too sensibly for most on here.

| i cant believe what i am reading. There were many worse performances than longs tonight. Surely having eastmond learning from the best scrum half that sl has ever seen is the best way of doing things. Some peoples over reaction to a defeat is laughable.

Not really, not many sports teams have their star players sat on the bench or in the stand whilst their understudies play for extended periods, unless they are injured.

| I suspect Wheeler will nail down one of the centre spots, now, having had a good performance both in defence and attack tonight.
He offers far more than Gilmour in the centres, as Gilmour is primarily an attacking back row.
The fact the Hargreaves, Dean and Ashurst naever came back on the field after being rotated, makes me wonder if those players were carrying knocks.
Certainly Dean picked up an injury against Cas and went off at half time.

Dean was holding his groin area from the first set onwards until he left the field.

Isn't that just a status symbol amongst the young today?

Do you honestly believe any of those are first team quality?
