Gidleys winger Gardner has scored ten.

Gleeson has only played two more games than Gidley this season.

Gardner has scored 10 but gidley not set him up for 10, gidley has made 4 assits this year but maybe not all to ade.

I think a few Saints fans may end up with egg on their faces if Saints dont sign Shenton.

Therefore we may as well talk about Saints signing Ingliss and Wigan signing Billy Slater.

Until its officially announced Shenton is a Castleford player.

Im old enough to remember the past when we were supposed to be signing Newlove, he signed for Bradford, and then there was Shelford who actually signed for Wigan. Not to mention the yearly. Meninga is coming back rubbish.

I think perry will be a solid if unspectacular signing for us. He will take some of the work from Grahams shoulders and give us a bit more beef in the middle

Gardner is on his second session of injury absence at present. The first entailed him being out for four weeks and so far he has been out for three weeks with this bout of injury. Sometimes, Rogues, stats are worthless. Gardner is bound to have scored fewer tries as he has played in fewer games. That isn't necessarily a reflection of Gidley's ability or form but more a reflection of the fact that Gidley has had to play centre to a selection of wingers this season.

Oh and add Gidley's own injury absence to that as well, of course, and you will have a better idea of the reality.

If we dont sign him, no problem, i still think he is good player if he signs for us or not.
