JULIEN RINALDI IS A CAS FAN

| Hopefully not all Saints fans are as biased as some.
I arent going to say Saints dont deserve the win, You guys went 100 metres in the last 2 minutes and managed to score. Well done.
All i will say, Is Castleford didnt deserve to lose, Albeit... Against a weakened Saints team. We were VERY good, Our goal line defence was superb, The best its been all season. And the only try we conceded on our goal line, for 74 minutes, Was from a blatant knock on. Which its absolutely astounding it was missed by the officials.
I havent seen the video, Apparently some say you maybe had 7 tackles late on, I didnt think so. But there was 1 occasion, With about 10 minutes to go, Where we were held on the 40 due to a late last tackle call from the idiot in the middle.
I thought Roby was ridiculous for you guys today, Made a lot of yards. And in the 2nd half. Was the only one causing us any problems, Our defence was good, Against your superior pack, And our kicking game was very good.
I thought you maybe got the 50/50 calls from the ref, But nobody could argue Cas' determination. We were there for every loose ball, And tbh. I think we deserved to win
Champion sides do what you did though, Just as Wigan did to you. A great game of RL
Just a shame there were a fair chunk of the crowd talking about the man in the middle again, And not the 34 players who served up another classic SL game.

agree with most of that, yes we got most of the 50/50 calls, but we got few of them on friday, its how it goes. on friday our defence was finished after 79 mins, yours was today

| This isn't aimed at today's game but I often wonder with rugby as it Is now a days that castlefords face doesn't fit for top of league. Referees can lose you a game and as of the last 3 games we have got nothing. It does seem like sour grapes from me but it's just I think referees can't be that bad....surely? I like saints though so I don't want to start an argument over me moaning.

| Just to echo what has been said really, I don't think Bentham had a bad game per se, simply that he got the two big decisions that cost us the game wrong. The try in the first half where Soliola appeared to drop the ball and pick it up again (which, when Rangi Chase did in the second half was classed as a knock on) was crucial, as was the decision to award the scrum to you guys when Shenton threw the ball forward inside your own half. However, as dissappointing as it was, it was nice to chat to some gracious Saints fans on the way out.
Full credit to your young guys for hanging in there anyway, and all the best for the rest of the season.

Except this isn't amateur rugby and no way did Bentman know whether Huby had a head injury or not. The guy didn't move. He was flat out. That looked like a head injury from the East Stand. We thought he had clashed heads. It was totally wrong not to stop play just as it was when Silverdud didn't stop play for Wheeler on Friday. Why should a team have to defend with 12 men other than as a punishment? Poor form, that was.

I agree. We got lucky at the end. Meli had been a lazy butt all game and then decides to deprive me of some abusive posts on here by scoring the match leveller. We know how you feel. We were the same on Friday. We were all over Wigan until Hoffman took out Wheeler. We still came back and were in the lead in the second half, but we lost. It's a real sickener and it took me all weekend to get over it. You were the better team today. But we got lucky at the end there and I can't give you those two points back. Sorry. We need them!
Best of luck for the rest of the season though.

| Its alright, Its our own faults. We probably should have won at Bradford
And definitely threw away now 3 games on the trot. Cas should have a 100% record. Which, Is absurd.

He did move, he held his hand up to ask for the medic, so wasn't unconscious

Fair enough, I didn't see that. But I still don't agree with Bentman allowing the play to go on like that, just as I didn't agree with it at Wigan (and Saints fans at Wigan were booing like mad about that, so let's not be one-eyed about this, eh? )

Harsh to say he was lazy. He was constantly shouting for the ball but no one give him any!

I cant agree with that pal. He rightly blamed the referee (James Child) after there game with Hull FC earlier in the season actually I think Cas won that game. He blasted his own team after losing a lead on Good Friday and today I must admit some of the officials decisions left me baffled.

TBF its not benthams responsibility, he was following the play as he should. his touch judges and the 4th official should (and probably did) inform him

| I'll be honest, after we got the rough end of the stick on Friday at Wigan and with our crippling injury list, I have little sympathy with Castleford and Matterson to be honest. We may have got one or two calls but the ref hardly gifted us the game.

| Big shout out for Meli - despite being anonymous for most of the game, as soon as he got the ball in his hands at the end it was obvious there'd be no stopping him.
A match winning performance that had Iro written all over it.

If we hadnt kept trying to miss him out and go straight to foster, he'd have bagged a few more, IMO
