I think he missed a few kicks yesterday, but then so did Meli. To be honest in the backs I was most impressed with Shenton yesterday. But the rest were a bit hit and miss for mine.

A good day for the props though. I even thought Roby was a bit off his best yesterday, which is still better than most.

I totally agree Roby was abit below par yesterday.

As per usual Roby has been flogged again.
Just because he can play 80 mins doesnt mean to say he has too every fooking week.

Not flogging Roby at all. Been World Class all year apart from his spell out injured. We really cant afford to rest him because we are no where near the same team without him. Roby did have an off night last night but all World Class players do sometime during the season. Im dam sure next week Roby will be on fire.

I reckon Roby had an easy game last night, our forwards went pretty well last night. So roby didn,t have to put in a full on game., even Perry took the load off Roby by doing some ball distribution.

If we're comparing 'safe hands' to Meli, it's definitely time for him to pack it in.

= disaster. Well past his best now but is still capable of a pulling a performance out of the hat, next year I think will be just too far.

What is Saddened's issue with Wello? His constant carping and negativity is becoming irritating.
Wello is still a great full back, an excellent choice for captain and a tremendous role model for young players. He may be lacking a bit in pace nowadays but there are few full backs in the game who arrive in the attacking line at exactly the right time, as he has done regularly for many years. How many other full backs in super league have scored 17 tries this season? As for Saddo's complaints about Wello's defence, time after time he prevents tries being scored when he's the last line of defence.
Give it a rest pal. Perhaps you should eat a few more pies?

I think the clue is in the name. Don't forget Saddened is the motivational speaker for Saints so, it's all down to his Carping that we have had this turn around in form.

I may have posted only once so far but, having read some of the comments on this website for many years, I thought it was time to raise the intellectual level. I'm also a Saints FAN - you know, the sort who attends every home and away game (despite working 240 miles from home during the week) and who stands and applauds the efforts of our team at the end of EVERY game, irrespective of the score! What some of your contributors should try to appreciate is that our players are only human, they occasionally make mistakes and the game is just that - a game! Do players such as Wello really deserve some of the crass comments which frequently appear? Wello is a legend who is sadly approaching the end of a glorious career but who is still a great and inspiring team member. Perhaps Saddened might just try to remember that.

Ah ha! It all becomes clear.
