I know you don't rate Wilkin, but that's just ridiculous.
Wilkin scores more tries, lays more on, busts more tackles, makes more breaks, kicks in open field and I would guess makes FAR more tackles than Bennett ever did. He can also cover the halves (admittedly not brilliantly, but a hell of a lot better than Mike Bennett ever could).

Nah, really?
And here was me thinking you greatly admired Jon Wilkin's gifts and abilities (on the rugby field, that is, unles you're gay, obviously, in which case you're welcome to join us women in admiring him whether on the field or not!)

| Quote Chief Scout="Chief Scout"Wilkin had all the potential to be a very fine player. He had everything.
Over the last couple of year he as transformed into a defensive second row, he is no better than what Mike Bennett was for us. I imagine Wilkin is on a very nice salary aswell. I'd sooner get shut.'"
I agree with what your saying about wilkin having potential to be a top class player and also agree he's nothing more than a defensive second row but he is hell of alot better than bennet ever was.
He's living off a good year about 4yrs ago and that game at leeds but i wouldn't complain if we got shut.
He's to small for backrow, can't break a tackle, not a playmaker and lost he great support play that was important to his game but he runs good lines
When anyone talks of wilkin it's either that game at leeds or he runs good lines

He looks like he's lost a bit of upper body weight to me. He certainly doesn't look as bulky as he was earlier in the year. Maybe he's been unable to much weight work due to his injury? Bit unfair to judge him on one game on his return after 3 months out though.

| Wilkins game has been stifled by two coaches who see him as a defensive second row forward.Under a coach who could see his potential he could be the best creative loose forward insuper league.

As much as I like Wilkin, he'll never be as good as Sinfield or O'Loughlin, regardless of who coaches him.
