| 1996 CC Final - unbelievable
Wide to West game - couldn't go but it's the only game I've ever watched on TV that made me leap out of my seat and jump up and down
Boxing Day 92
And GB v Australia 1983 (I think) in Sydney

| Quote: C-Stander "For 2 reasons, the 8 all draw with the pies at central park in 1993.
1. So close but yet so far from winning the league
2. Seeing the great Kevin Ward being carried from the field in absolute agony. No one, let alone Wardy deserved for their career to end in that manner.'"
And the fact we scored two tries to one, and the fact we should've had a penalty in front of the sticks when Dwyer was ruled to have lost the ball, and the fact one of Wigan's penalties came from an offside - when we were in possession!
All told, not one of the best days.
Edit: I echo your sentiments about Wardy. Legend.

| Semi final in 89 against Widnes.
No-one gave us a chance, and we turned in a brilliant gutsy display.
After Quirky went in late at the corner, I saw blokes of all ages, hugging, dancing, crying.
Awesome.

| Another one for me would be the 2002 Grand Final when we beat Bradford Bulls 19-18!
I knew something special was coming when Anthony Stewart made a break and then another drive from Newlove and then Captain Fantastic Joynt drove it in just infront of the sticks. I remember everybody in the West Stand screaming for a drop goal and Longy as cool as a cumcumber slotted it over! They were the days!

| CC final 1996, the first time seeing saints win the CC at Wembley, and under the circumstances it was even more emotional.
That game was the start of it all.

| Boxing day 41-6 against the pies. We really looked like we could take the title that year and we would have if it wasnt for losing to a p!ss poor Leigh team in the mud at Hilton park (game before boxing day maybe??)
1996 CCF too - finally saw us win at wembley.

| Loads really!
One that really does it for me is when we beat Wigan at Cardiff - first time I'd ever seen us beat them in a Challenge Cup Final (I was just too young for '66!) and had been through the agonies of all the ones since.
The thing that really still makes it the most special is the photo I took of our youngest daughter - then aged 8 - at the final whistle, and knowing that it was just as special for her too!!

The first one that sprung to mind was a defeat by the goons in theC.C. semi final at Old Trafford.

Ditto. After seeing us lose at four Wembley finals before that it wasn't looking good when we went 14 points down. I was fired up at that point determined not to let our vocal support die. I stood up (was in the front row of the Olympic Gallery and shouted at my mates to stand up and get behind their team lol. The elation I felt at the end was incredible. It was like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
The Ultimate Comeback just edges out Cardiff 2004 which was similarly euphoric and tension relieving. Finally seeing us beat Wigoon in Challenge Cup Final was brilliant. It was a victory that's on my checklist and that Saturday night will go down as one as my favourite memories. All evening and late into the night I was in emotional ecstacy buzzing my nips off.

I think it was Robin Whitfield that day.
1996 CC final was the one for me. It was my fifth time going watch us at Wembley, seeing us lose the previous four. I'd almost given up the ghost with about twenty five minutes left that day. I remember exploding when Newlove gave a daft penalty away. I couldn't believe it was happening to me again. Thank god they had a retard at full back.
