| Wigan fans are way over confident.
They were smashed by saints 2 weeks ago, the scoreline flattered.
Against catalans, I haven't seen catalans look so knackered in a long time. 5 mins into the 2nd half their team couldn't be bothered to get back onside until about the 4th play.
Great commitment eh? Wigan were playing a team that couldn't be d after the first 20.
Fair play, they took advantage and beat them well. But wigan fans seem to be deluding themselves that it was some scintillating unstoppable exhibition of rugby, come on, get real.
The logic wigan fans are using, that they played poorly and lost narrowly, so better performance this week = win.
Sh*t, we aren't on the playground here, sport doesn't work like that. Leeds beat hull by 30, who beat warrington, does that mean leeds will win on friday?
No.
It will be a close contest and whoever wins will lose against tony smiths unstoppable juggernaught of success in the final.

What a bell end you really are. Wigan had two home games in a row where the price wasnt included in the season ticket. Bear in mind when you go to a game majority are families. The reason i didnt go with my family was purely financial reasons. Add to this no Catalan fans in attendance.

| I'd actually agree with most that.
I still think Wigan will win, the lack of depth in the saints squad should tell with the games that matter.
It does reflect well on simmons and the squad that they've performed so well in a transitional period.

The doubts I have mainly circle around the fact that Wigan have been settled as a good team for a while, whereas we seem to have just figured out how to beat you.
Our victory the other week was more convincing than the scoreline suggests. I know a lot of WIgan posters are saying how badly they played, but there's obviously a massive argument that it was down to how well we went at them. Unfortunately, the season's overall record has not given me the confidence that we can turn a big team over two games in a row. Hopeful our current form will shine through and we'll turn you over again.

Quite right, at I Half Time I texted a couple of mates who are Saints fans asking how we were only 8 behind given how much we were dominated. I never expected us to be able to play 6 derby games in a year and not lose, so as much as Saints deserve credit for their win, it doesn't bother me all that much now we have another crack at you in a do-or-die situation.
Saints went well at us, of that there's no doubt but there is an element of our under-performance that explains not so much the score in the game but the dominance of it.
For Saturday, I expect us to come out 10 times faster than last time we played you. Should be a cracker.

We've had similar periods of dominance in most of the other games against Wigan though, with the exception of the Stobart game, without our halves being composed enough to do anything about it.
Hopefully Lomaskell now have the faith in their own abilities to trouble you.
