I often disagree with Saddened's posts particularly with his negativity. However, I have never seen him be abusive or nasty to any posters on here or react angrily to ridicule from others.
He's even stepped in to stop me tearing into you in the past, Muggers.
Let's all be a bit more tolerant.

That's what happened with Wilkin and Turner at the end of the year. Wilkin would play half the game as the left second row (with Turner at loose), and with Turner off, Wilkin at loose. With Fages hopefully in place of Burns, we should have a bit more running threat in the middle, in which case our team is better balanced with Turner at centre...providing he has a lot of work done on his defensive decision making in pre-season.

A Saints fan, with a different opinion.
It depends on what your idea of being a fan is...is it to blindly support your team no matter how they play or who they sign etc or is it to want more/better for your team and thus criticise and question certain decisions that you feel don't benefit your club?
4th isn't good enough for our club, he's right. And we don't make those real big name signings anymore, and that can look to many like it reflects a lack of ambition, especially to fans who have followed Saints for 30+ years. So I see his point although I don't totally agree with it. |

I have never met a SINGLE PERSON who "blindly follows the club" (or ANY club for that matter) without questioning a single decision. People aren't robots - programmed to behave only in this fashion or that.
The truth is this is not a mutually exclusive question. We all support the club AND criticize it when we feel things aren't right.
However, when people start attacking players before they've played so much as a single game in the club's colours then I think there's a reasonable question as to how much support they are really providing.
