It's not that worse than 6 months ago. Yet Hull Signed Fitzgibbon and Mark O Meley. We need a top prop, Mcmanus knows this as does every Saints fan. There seems none available in Super League so we must get somebody from Australia. Rumours like this usually dont get written unless theres something in it.

But a 3 year SL contract will be more attractive to a guy who has been told he can only have 2 years at his club in the NRL. They are probably squeezing him to fit him into the cap as well because they've resigned a lot of top quality players recently. He doesn't want to play for another NRL side so 3 years in SL might still be better, plus Jamie Lyon will have told him how amazing the place is and how fantastic Saddened! is.

Josh Perry at Saints next year - oh yes! He can give Peacock another smack too.

I hope that the Perry and Shenton deals come through. I'd love to see them in Saints shirts after these rumours.

If the above deals do come off, it would be nice for us to try and sign a fast winger that can defend too. Pace is what we are desperate for.

Can you imagine Parry, Shenton and one more signing. Plus the signing of Soliola (lets face it he'll be like aknew signing if he stays fit).

O'Meley wasn't in great demand anyway either was he? I remember rumours of him coming to Wigan but he was one of the players IL was warned off when he went to Aus. A lot of people thought his knees were shot and he'd struggle to keep fit.

What would people say if Perry was the 'only if we can find a suitable replacement for you' for Jammer's go in the NRL. Wouldn't look quite so peachy then would it.

It wouldn't, but Perry would still be an excellent signing.

Well, I would have thought we'd struggle to tempt him, given there should be some real competetion for his signiture. Mind you, the new stadium facility must be a real selling point.

What really makes me scepticle is that a few posts after he was mentioned some one's decleared it definate.
