What state he will be in physically and mentally to play at this stage is somewhat in doubt.

I would have thought he might be ready for the cup game in a couple of weeks, but it may be pushing it to throw him in this Friday. Depends on fitness and Jetlag.

I hope he plays on Friday, he was our best player in the Grand Final.

I'd play him on Friday. How unfit can a player be? He is a winger so won't be doing a great deal so contributing for an hour would help shift some of the weight. Knowing Francis he'll no doubt turn up looking like Notorious B.I.G with a Freddie wig on.

i cant decide if this good news or bad. When he can be bothered he is very good, but that isn't very often

Thats how I feel, I am trying to stay positive about it and I am hoping that he will realise he has to prove himself and earn his place in the team now.

I also hope that people don't get on his back too much when he is playing, and they wait to see how he does before trying to turn him into some sort of scapegoat.

I was thinking that. The baiting was bad enough before all this ... I can only imagine it's going to be a lot worse now.
