Nice big comfy ones with heaters in them, after all our glorious stadium is always wet and cold so we will need them.

Quote: The Chair Maker "Cracking to see the plans to clad the stadium improved upon with full cladding.

Nice to see the two corners stay open as this will let air onto the pitch which not only helps the grass to grow but on those rare warm summer days, makes it less stifling for the players.

I also note on the plans that these open corners are clad down the sides of the seating and terracing, so that fans are given shelter from any wind or rain blowing in through the gaps.

The stadium will look and feel somewhat different by the end of the season.
Acoustically it will change for fans mulling around the concourses, i suspect the cavernous north stand may echo somewhat when sealed in. The east and west concourses will probably feel somewhat claustrophobic and stuffy on a hot summers day. Conversely in the cold weather it will offer some respite from the external elements. Though i think many moaners will be disappointed that the cladding wont magically make a cold night, warm.
Aesthetically the stadium will look complete, and will start to have the look of a top quality stadium rather than a ground with one superb stand and three works in progress.

Just have to wonder what fans will moan about re the ground when its complete?'"

Looks like the 021 cladding is also being tweaked, could be wrong.

Wondering about the Fire Safety Certificate, are we getting perforated cladding. If not and there is a fire within the escape routes of the concourses we could suffocate much quicker.

We've got to get shut of Meli, TP, Perry and co before we can get it done. The sale of lomax to Wigan should just about cover it.

theres an image on the Saints club site showing an extending platform doing some prepartory work to enable the cladding to be fitted. icon_biggrin.gif might get done now for next season providing we don't buy any new players. icon_lol.gif

It was posted on Redvee that the drilling and girders will take place over the next month and then the cladding will be fitted. This should be finished by October.

All the west stand brackets now in place and some east stand, should be some cladding up by end of season icon_wink.gif
