It's about time the RFL had some backbone.
Every now and then things happen within the game which question the integrity of the game and it makes it look a laughing stock.
It's no suprise that referees bottle so much on the pitch, when people above them in the organisation bottle it as much as they do and more besides.
The standard of officiating in the league is a joke, there isn't a single referee that you can say is 'good', they are all much of a muchness, and by that, i mean they're crap.
Some of the rules within the game are ridiculous and need changing, and the new playoff system is crazy too.
They have to stop being soft with suspensions, start officiating games better on the pitch, and also get rid of some crazy rules.'"

So we should just butter up the RFL even though they are bottling it and many people can see it.

Did i say rules had gone against us? ? ?
I said there are certain rules within the game that are just rubbish, not that rules have gone against Saints.
So you think the standard of officiating in the game is of a high standard, consistently? ? ? |

I am not sure how you can ban somebody for 'speaking out' which would succeed in making a martyr out of a player anyway.
A fine would be more apt, because I agree with your wider point that the game cannot be allowed to be nrought into disrepute by careless comments to the media. |

I meant in general.
The kick out over dead ball line is a crap rule where you then start on your own 20.
The is it a knock on or was he going into the tackle is crap too, if its a knock on, it's a knock on.
Same with a forward pass, scrap the 'momentum' rule, if it is forward, it is forward, let's not get like rugby union where you can pass forward all the time. |

Which just happens to coincide with you not finishing Top of the league for the first time in 5 years!
It just "Seems" a bit of a coincidence especially as you said "Yes mate, i can have a conversation without having Saints tinted specs on."

Where you appalled at the RFL's incompetance/Bottling of it then????????
When you say these things when it goes against you it does seem to be a bit of Dummy Spitting and sour grapes IMO! |
