| Quote Trainman="Trainman"At the magic weekend I was chatting to a an English couple who have lived in Perpignan for the last 15 years. They were saying there is a lot of conflict at the club as they pay their French players peanuts which allows them to outbid other teams for the Australians.'"
This has been the case for a while.
Most recent example Gadwin Springer.
Unfortunately Cas were smart enough to take advantage.
We don't possess that kind of vision.

| Cunningham has to take the blame, and McManus for ever appointing him, other clubs have made good signings from down under, but it is years since the last truly good one for Saints and there were some amazing signings then, who at the club approaching top players at the moment would demand respect? I doubt anyone in McManus, Rush and Cunningham! and for Long I just don't know what he us allowed to do? if I was him I would get out, unless he is just there for the money.

He would be better than fat Owen, but we are told "he's a nice lad" KC must rank as the worlds worst coach, there is no way I will be going to LP again whilst the current coaching regime is in place.

| It needs a clear out of dead wood and get some good players in. We have to many poor poor players and not enough quality players.
We need a number of positions but realistically we can't replace the team. Imo we need two good hard props to go with Walmsley and amor. Richards and LMS and Tasi should go. Tasi is up there with worst ever saints signings
We need a tackle breaking second row. We have no threat in the backrow at all. Vea puts Effort in but can't break a tackle and he is a liability in defence and should be released. Wilkin is finished and should be released.
Tuner isn't good enough. Worst defender In super league and should go now. We need threat out wide with a good centre with pace. Percy is good on other side.

I agree with all this and I know I keep banging the drum but we need these new signings to be influential...proper shouters who can put an arm around the young lads. Who are they learning off right now? Wellens, Cunningham and co came through the ranks and had Goulding, Joynt, Perelini, Veivers etc And so on and so forth, throughout the last 20 years+ there's always been experienced older heads to help with their transition.
Who have we got now...Wilkin, who struggles to control his own emotions, Roby who's very quiet and LMS who probably licks the windows clean on the team bus.

Wilkin is the best of a bad bunch to be captain but I wouldn't even pick him

| I don't.understand how u would want to keep amour over lms tho admittedly not seen.many games lms has looked better and certainly wouldn't be bundled over line for a drop out by player half his size!!

The fact LMS doesn't play as prop and amor does. Also , LMS has had two good seasons with saints and both have been contract renewal seasons.
We need two good props and In salary cap sport players need to go and make way and imo LMS can go as he's not good enough.

Did we? I didn't think this. I watched Tasi play for Salford and not once did I think he was one of their better players.
Masoe was a good player, used badly. He had his haters but there are fans that just hate certain players.

Not in my book. How many coaches - including Wayne Bennett - have tried and failed to sort out Eden's game?
