I think he's far too young to write off yet (22 or 23?) It's quite probable that other coaches have studied his running lines and Saints drop off ball to him close to the line and made plans to defend against it.
Give the lad some time, we (as a game) are far too impatient with young players. If he has been as poor this season as some on here are saying than maybe a loan spell away from the club could do him good. As TYG and MS have intimated, I too have heard that it's not a happy camp at Saints at present.

He was poor last season apart from those runs when he runs good lines but you need more to your game than that.

He gets smashed when he has to take the ball up. He misses far to many one on one tackles by going to high and he also gives pens away for high shots or lying on in the tackle.

He's at a age where he should hold his own more but he's getting smashed and if I was coach I wouldn't pick him for his own safety. He's a big which makes it hard to believe he gets put on his bum so easy.

In don't think it helped when KC was bigging him up as a superstar when it was clear he wasn't. Some giddy posters on here was saying he should play for England lol

Have to admit, I was one of those giddy posters. I thought he was mostly very good in past couple of seasons but he's hit a wall at the minute. If he can adjust a few aspects of his game mentally as well as physically then I'm confident he can go on to have a good career for us.

I really hope we don't offer LMS a new deal. Waste of a shirt for me.

He will be playing this week going off Cunningham's latest on the Star website.

Seems like your the only one who enjoys the way we playing. It's so boring it's unreal. I find myself not even watching the game now I'm so bored.

Some fans have a longer patience than others, some fans are more willing to let sh*t go where as some fans are just blind or far to blinkered in red & white spectacles to see anything else.

At this moment we are playing some of the dullest rugby I've seen in years. The type of stuff I watch other teams play on Sky & turn over after 10 minutes.

Sadly being at the ground & already committing my money I'm kind of stuck with this dross.

Here's to hoping we open up abit when the grounds toughen up & we at least try to entertain. Sadly, I don't see that coming with the structure we play & the personnel we use in certain positions week in week out

I do worry if we will try to play better rugby from reading KC quotes in local paper.

I reckon he's trying to emulate Hanley's style of rugby mate. I didn't enjoy the rugby that season despite winning the grand final. By the sounds of Longy's autobiography, he was a brilliant man manager and maybe out of all the managers we've had, he left the biggest impression on KC. I'm purely speculating and could quite possibly be talking a load of nonsense....again.

Never ever said he would play for his country and never ever predicted he'd be a star.

I said he had more about him than other lads we had Brought thru but he got worse and worse as he played more.

He did ok tonight but nothing more and against what looked like a unfit pub team in Wakey. I don't think I've seen a team so unfit as Wakey.
