| Quote St pete="St pete"How good was rangi chase last night considering he's been out so long. Love watching him play.'"
He went OK, didn,t go missing during the match, him and Fages caused us a few problems. Everyone around us was saying we were laying off Rangi Chase and letting him run when we should have closed him down and hit him hard on the occasional opportunity. We did the usual 15 min spell of weak tackling going loose on the upper body and they were getting off loads away, we need this sorting out for next week.

| I didn't think Chase was up to much to be honest. He cost Salford 2 tries by trying ridiculous flick passes instead of the simple option that would have lead to a try. Too focussed on making himself look good rather than the good of the team IMO. He did pull off some good plays at times though.
You would hope with a dislocated finger Roby could play next week. Saying that, you wouldn't find too many sports where players carry on or play the following week with the same injury. Makinson didn't look good at all. Hopefully it's not as serious as it looked, as that would be a huge blow.

Thought so, wash,t sure if the officials picked it up properly so its over to the disciplinary, Thaler missed it amongst other stuff, I thought he came up with the worst performance so far at Langtree Park, he got fantastic applause when he awarded us a penalty for Salford offside after 57mins.

| Chase is ridiculously talented. But he tries to do it on his own far too much, playing low percentage plays time after time when the game situation is crying out for a bit of respect for the ball and the need to build pressure.

Like I said, he's good to watch. Plays entertaining rugby.

| Heard Tommy is a bad one and will be lucky to see him again this year. I'm hearing could be up to 6 month.

| So which genius in the medical team was letting him walk round on it then?

Exactly. Absolutely amateurish from the club once again concerning injuries. Our season is over, in a salary cap sport you cannot lose your best 2 strike backs (Lomax and Makinson) and still manage to win on the big occasions. Its just not going to happen.

| what a joke. I really am getting fed up of these injuries to our key players.
I can't remember the last time we faced Wigan with a full strength side.
Absolutely gutted for Makinson. He has been the best winger in the competition this season and was a shoe in for England.

| Let's wait and see before we consign ourselves to wrist slitting. One of the most reliable posters on t'other forum says scans will only happen on Monday - which would make more sense as some of the swelling would need to go down ...
All just hearsay at this point!
