In all seriousness, I imagine there's a certain amount of frustration when a player gets injured against wigan. I know you defend it by saying it's aggression and to hurt not to injure etc etc but the line gets crossed far too often with very limited repercussion for Wigan.[u I would suggest far more play makers are injured borderline unfairly (or blatantly unfairly in some cases) against Wigan then against any other team [/u- and that needs to be addressed - it's not as simple as saints forwards need to give it back, because the amount of crying that wane did if someone so much as looked at Sam meant referees were giving penalties before they touched him!'"
It could be that you are letting your bias against Wigan run away with you here. Wigan give it out and they take it. One case being the GF and Westwoods assault on Green. What was Wane's response "I thought he should have got up quicker".
Last season both Smith and Green missed large chunks of the season due to injury after being hit late, Green after being hit high by Paterson against his old team. Did Wigan moan, no. They just got on with it. It's a rough tough game. I would suggest watching Professional Football if you are not keen on contact. |

the match maybe but the situation isn't. Shaun wane didn't come out crying about constant late hit or thuggish play of the half backs and both them had been out for awhile because of late hits.
so i would say its on topic. |

missing the link where shaun wane is sending out warnings to teams saying they are cheap shot merchants? also he was asked about blake green incident he didn't moan and bring it up, he got asked about it and gave his opinion; the Matty one he says one sentence he wasn't impressed with the shoulder charge hardly a moan is it?

Seriously? he moaned about the blake green shot but he didn't go running to the press and shouting from the roof tops to other teams. The Matty smith one was a nothing article he offered one sentence and said he wasn't impressed, didn't then accuse salford of being cheap shot merchants and its the norm for there front row to target players. Also no moaning of the cheap shot blake green took in the grand final. If anything it just proves wigan players get target just as much as the saints players. |
