Gutted about this. I really hoped he had beaten his illness. The RFL should step forward and honour him by renaming the Man of Steel after him. He has been an inspiration to many of us for many years.

He may have died, but he'll never be dead. He was an absolute inspiration to us all and judging by Twitter his reach went well, well beyond the sport. He'll leave a lasting legacy, not only in his charity work, but in his response to the disease. A magnificent man.
