I did, I did. But he was playing against a bunch of blokes who included a lot of amateurs from the PNG local competition, and even then he wasn't exactly setting the world on fire. Anyway, I'm not writing him off, but there's big and fit (Perelini), and there's big and fat (Barry Ward), and he looked like the sort of big which comes with some extra pounds last night.
Plenty of time though. I'll be cheering him on in his [XXXL] Saints shirt.

Dwarfs, Gnomes, Halflings/GNOME2.JPG The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.:Dwarfs, Gnomes, Halflings/GNOME2.JPG |

| For me Mose will be more equivalent to Baloo rather than Barry Ward. If we can get him fitter and he stays injury free then he will take a lot of "weight" of our other forwards.
Whichever way you look at him its an improvement on Josh.

| I think he's more likely to be a Fa'asavalu type player., coming off the bench.

5002.jpg sad to say I must be on my way
So buy me beer and whiskey 'cause I'm going far away:5002.jpg |

| It is obvious to me that he has been guided to understand how to manage his energy when on the field. So that he can be effective when he is needed.
You dont see him running on the off chance that he may get a pass from a break, his every involvement is pre determined. What this does mean is that oppositions will be able to ignore him on some plays as if he doesnt move you are sure he wont be involved in the play.
He also doesnt fly back into the line preserving his energy - this also means he could be targetted in attack.
If I was in charge of him next year I would look to up his work rate and worry less about the length of time he is on the pitch.
Up his work rate - increase his fitness - better involvement when he is on the pitch - eventually more minutes and at a more intense level.

| I'd play him in the centres. That would sort our problematic backline.

I Also think some of it is him being lazy.
I think he will be a good player for us and a fans favourite.

It doesn't matter how many times you say it, he's a completely different build to fat Feka.
Also, fat Feka ain't so fat anymore.

He's exactly the same style, and Feka was a fans favourite with many at Wigan.
Go to that well known video sharing site and do a search for him and you'll see what I mean.
He made more metres than any other Wigan forward for four consecutive years 2006 - 2009

Mose is a few inches taller and a few kg's lighter than Feka was, he's a completely different build. Feka was a lot more 'padded' shall we say than Mose is.
Mose has had a 6 week lay off before playing and was in better shape throughout this season than he is now, which he will be once again after a full pre season with Saints. He without doubt needs a bit of conditioning but he's nowhere near fatty Feka's league, he plays a lot more minutes.
Just because their style is similar, doesn't mean they're similar players. They've got the same style as Walmsley has, Fa'asavalu had and others, doesn't make them fat like Feka though.
