I could understand taking a risk on 1/2yr deal but four years for a guy that's no idea how to play in the halves. He's slow passing, don't know wgen to run or when to pass, comes back on the inside to much, stands to wide when we in attack, worst kicking game I've ever seen at any level of rugby that includes kids and women's rugby, four years!

Exactly, if it was a younger player who was in on merit turning in these appalling performances they would be dropped immediately.

And that's the most depressing part of our squad situation.

He is in complete denial IMO. The Wigan losses are not simply losses to one team: they are hammerings by the team we should be aiming to beat if we have any aspirations at all for this season. He's clearly deluded if he is comparing this year's performances against Wigan with last year's. With the exception of the match at Widnes - when I think we still lost by fewer points than any of the matches this season - we were within one converted try of a win each time, and we had already drawn one match against them.

He also does not appear to appreciate that outside of silverware winning matches, the matches against Wigan are the most important for fans. So he really should stop trying to patronise us by talking about perspective. Our performance on Sunday was atrocious, regardless of how well Wigan were playing.

Wilkin another with four years! I woukdnt have give him four days never mind four years. He's one player that will certainly go into I don't care mode now he's made for four years. He only ever plays the season before his contracts up.

I agree but at the end of the day he don't claim to be a coach and is doing a job that his boss asked him to do.

Maybe McManus should have appointed a short term coach until brown comes in but we all know it's about cash and he's doing it on cheap with rush and KC.
