I was sat in La Castille bar till god knows what hour.
Although the bars being closed was more to do with it being Easter Monday.

Some Saints fans have picked up a horrible Scouse victim mentality.'"
Victim mentality? Fans want their holiday away day in a summer month for the first time in years, that constitutes a 'victim' mentality?
It's Catalans and the hotels in the area that are the 'victims' when the bigger teams get drawn during a winter month on consecutive occasions. People like myself, who would have gone, will be sodding off to Brazil (or somewhere hotter) at that time instead of shelling out holiday money on what will probably be jumper weather. If I were Catalans I would be kicking up a right fuss.

Catalans are more worried about themselves. Ensuring they have 9,000 each week from the local area, and make sure the club is going for years to come. If I was them, I'd be more worried about trying to push to 10,000 Catalunians than a choice between some slack jaws from Wakefield and some theiving Plastic Scousers getting smashed in their streets.
The victim mentality comes from the fact Saints fans seem to find a consipricy against St Helens at every turn.
You have taken that decision to go to Brazil over going to watch Saints. You cannot blame the fixture list for that, but your own desires.
I feel I am having the same conversation/debate with fans with this set of fixtures.

| Ski,
I'm with you on this one.
I've been to every Wigan game over there, Challenge Cup games and play off included and loved every one regardless of the result.
However,
Confession time.
It looks as though I'll miss this year as my daughter and her husband (yes the one who organised his stag night on a Saints v Wigan derby night in 2009) have somehow consummated their marriage and she has been told that the birth will be on or around 6th June.
How bloody inconsiderate is that?
Catalan v Wigan game is 4th June 2011 in Montpellier.
I caunt speyk.

The decision was made when the fixture list came out. I will be going on two holidays this year, and Catalans away would have been one of them had it been in summer. Instead, I will be going somewhere else, so yes the fixture list was the decisive factor in the decision. No harm done, but it would have been nice, hence why the fixture should be shared rather than picked at random.
I assume the initial paragraph was to gain a reaction from people from St Helens or Wakefield (as I assume the initial 'horrible scouse victim mentality' comment was to get one from people from Liverpool), but as I am none of the above you will have to look elsewhere.

You need to sort your Son in Law out Brian. You are really letting things slip. Spend less time on here and more time letting him know you're the Daddy!
