Of course it comes down to £££, but that doesn't mean there won't be genuine fans there.
I bought two tickets for the black tie "Greatest 17" dinner this Friday for my dad and he can't wait. I got an email yesterday saying that particular evening had sold out, so at £99 a pop for tickets it's a nice little earner for the club and a great opportunity to spend the evening in the company of the best players to grace KR. |

The black tie dinner looks like being a big money maker.
600 people at £99 each is £59400.
Now obviously you have to knock off the cost of marquee, gorden burns, food etc when looking at profit, but wouldnt surprise me if this event along cleared £20k+ profit.

I tried to do it on line as invited but it just says "Sorry, item is either out of stock or an insufficient level to fulfil your requirements" instead of "thank you for your pre-order"  or the like.
Getting kind of sick with my on line experience with the shop it is so amateurish. |

You may be confusing 'sold out' with checking up that previously arranged people are actually going to be there.
And besides, are you saying that Saints are lying on their ads being sent by email? Isn't that in breach of the trade descriptions act or something? |
