the wiganers should be really happy the way that Phellps lad is progressing, another couple of years and he'll be a right prospect. As for Vivers when is he going to get a run out in the first team.
Was a very competitive second half pity the ref made a couple of obscure decisions. Saints had 2 try's disallowed which would have brought the scores level.
still if it makes them happy I'd rather have my juniors getting 1st team experience.

Yes we are. It's just that we don't equate an u20s grand final loss/win with our future! We withheld Jonny Lomax, for example, possibly because he will be needed in the Grand Final. We had Dixon, Foster and Emmitt in the first team - they would all feature in the u20s if we had other players available. Our future is looking good, regardless of an u20s grand final.

That Farsavaloo must be progressing well. Is he the oldest player ever to appear in an U20 final?
Farrell and Tuson ring any bells?
And the team to win the last ever game at Knowsley Road was Wigan.
def sig material.
There were more players with more Superleague game experience in the Saints U20 team today than in Wigans. You also conveniently forgot mention the five U18's in todays Wigan U20 side.

Your right. I was about to mention that. But you beat me too it.
Thus meaning the team to win the final game at Knowsley Road ISNT Wigan.

| Wigan had players with more 'big time' experience than Saints had. If we had been able to field the players who had to play in the first team game on Friday then It would have probably been a different outcome. Who knows. Over the season Saints were the better side - the league table shows that.

If Wigan had been able to play Farrell and Tuson the score would have been even bigger.I said at the beginning of the season that if Wigan had kept their U20's "in house" that they would have walked the competition.
Wigan played Saints three times and beat them in all three.
Do you think Warrington were the best of the three, after all they finished top.
It'l be interesting next season as the likes of Vievers, Howarth, Ainscough and Walker move on too see what happens. There will be a lot more of the Wigan players going out on loan as it's obvious that Wigan are far too good at that level for anyone else.
