People have short memories and I can't quite believe the degree of 'Keep Meli mania' on here of late. The guy has been unworthy of a start spot, apart from his last few games (surprise surprise it's contract time) for the whole of his time with us. Lazy, casual, error prone and can't catch.

out of wellens, meli, flannary, hargreaves and clough who are out of contract, i hope they get clough and hargreaves on long term contracts, flannary and wello on a year or two and release meli as we have cover for him

agreed will allez, personaly i carnt stand meli as he is just a waste of space and salary cap and i didnt know a played could concede so many tries as him, he carnt catch and he cost us grand finals

1 year for those two is sensible, especially Flanders.
Next year we'll see how Clough, Ashurst, Dixon and McGennis develop and then decide whether they can step up to fill Flanders's boots, or whether we need to look elsewhere.

clough is more than ready to step up to te plate, he is one of our best forwards behind graham and puletua, he is on the verge of an england call up

I have no problems with Clough, he's a solid enough player. But he's a million miles away from being an England player.
