| Quote Saddened!="Saddened!"Bradbury has flown under the radar a bit hasn't he? I take it he's pants? I've not heard him mentioned as the new Meninga/Lyon once, nor have I heard that old Wigan supporter (I forget his name) suggest there is a Wigan player miles better than him.
What is the score with KC? For him to miss two games due to a family bereavement must mean it's a bad one but I've not read anything about which relative it is. My thoughts are with him and his family and for me he can have as much time as he feels he needs given what he's given the club over the years.'"
Bradbury is a decent player but from what ive seen i dont think he'll make it at Saints. Keirons mum sadly passed away. R.I.P

| Isnt Ashurst the more natural right sided player, and therefore most likely to fill in for Flannery.
Interesting re Bradbury because Gidley was limping a bit last week at Bradford.

Possibly, but from what I've seen Dixon is the more gifted player. I'm hoping he will step up a gear this season.

Dixon just looked like a plodder to me last season.
Ashurst looked really good early in the season ( mobile ,ran good lines and took a ball etc).
Looked out of sorts when he got a game towards the end. Had a bad wrist problem
if I remember rightly.
I thought Magennis was supposed to be the next big thing in the back row?
Wouldn't know Bradbury if I fell over him.
Good luck to both if they get a game. Watch out for Fakir.

Bradbury's probably just in as cover, in case Gidley doesn't make it.
In my opinion, Greenshields is the man to watch out for. He joins the line and links up well with Mogg in attack. If we keep him quiet we should win the game.

| Safe journey to all the people going over. Hope for their sake it's as good a game as Bradford last week.

Bloody hell. The guy hasn't even made his debut at first grade level and you've already written him off?

Plenty of players never make it that far. How many of the 2007 under 21s team made first grade debuts?
If The Wizard has watched a lot of Academy games and formed that opinion from watching him then, unless you've done the same, I don't see how you can insult that opinion.

I can easily contest that opinion. Presumably the club has seen potential in the lad and is prepared at some juncture to give him a debut at first grade; he wouldn't have been called up if that was not the case. I would suggest that given those circumstances we wait to see how he goes before we write him off.

I agree with you, I don't know enough about him to make a comment on if he will or he won't make it. But if The Wizard has seen enough of him to think he won't make it, he's quite entitled to that opinion without the need to see him in the first grade.

I wouldent say i was writing the lad off. Jacks been a good player in the youth system, however i cant see how his going to develop further. His not fast or skillfull enough for centre imo and not big enough for second row. Hope he makes it like i do with alot of the young lads. Just my opinion and he as my full backing to prove me wrong. If he comes into the team and makes mistakes i can assure you i wont criticise the lad. Young players are not to be slated.
