From all the reports i hear about him, he does seem to be improving year on year, and i think he is still only 20/21? Because he debutised at 16 alot of people think he is now a seasoned professional, at his age he still has alot to learn and i for one hope he does it at saints.

Next season, if we extend his contract and the King stays on for another season, I'd be happy to loan him to Huddersfield for another year. He seems to be developing into a good player under Nathan Brown.

I don't think Wigan fans want shut, but it's more to do with the balance of the team.

It's probably more in how we best utilise Tommy. Is he bettter used as a 7 then into the 9 position as interchange with Riddell. McIlorum IMO is still a very good prospect, but will he play third behind Riddell and Tommy.

A lot will depend on what happens to Tim Smith, I believe Wigan are looking at a replacement for him which could also affect McIlorums position, but that maybe for next season.

Did anyone see his try today? Very good dive back over the line when the defenders were thinking the ball would go out wide or something (don't know what they were thinking cos they left a rather large gap for him to dive through).
