At the end of the day Foster was only in the team to kick goals, and after that Bradford game he wasn't even doing that!!
I recall saying 2 years ago that it was only a matter of time before he got found out, he has no size, no pace and can not tackle (watch the Catalan & Bradford games)
If a union team where after him, I'd let him go, as somebody else has previously stated, if he was ripping it up in the U20's then Swift wouldn't be starting games before him.
I do feel sorry for the lad, he tries hard, has good intentions, but unfortunately isn't good enough for Saints.
