| I really like Lomax, and I accept all that he has had to go through, but we are talking about England and an elite team, that missed tackle made him look like a schoolboy and is not acceptable, the French game was a warm up and nothing else after the scored first, perhaps it was a mistake not to select Jamie Shaul. As much as Lomax has gone through a lot, so has Sargenson this season, many players would have been out for the season by now, so lets not start knocking him just for the sake of it, he made errors yes.
I fear against Australia as they will be in their stride by then!

| as I stated earlier lomax did ok, but against top class teams you need a line breaker someone with the x factor, Shaul has that and pace to burn, ive watched him all year and for me he should have been given a chance, why Taylor isn't in the 17 goodness knows, as for lomax well done to the kid on coming back from those injuries

| Shaul has nothing like the vision or passing game Lomax has. On at least three occasions the ball out the back to Lomax was on yesterday & a short flat ball was thrown instead. You need a third pivot in international rugby league especially with the quality in the halves we're currently producing in this country at the moment

| I reckon Bennett will go with Sarginson at full back. Percival left centre and Williams scrum half.
Farrell may be brought in but I'm not too sure who'd make way.

The England backline has a very unstable look about it, full back+centre+standoff just not experienced at international level. Lomax didn't make all that many mistakes and he didn't get many opportunities either. Also if Widdop keeps getting selected then you need an extra pivot at full back.

| Lomax is unlucky not to have an assist to his name. On 19 mins when we are attacking their line he hits McGillvary with a good cut out pass and with the Kiwi defence stretched and McGillvary 8m out and with about 5/6m away from the sideline he didn't aim for the corner post like he should've done and instead straightened up and ran towards the defender and got caught.
McGillvary finishes that and people are complimenting Lomax for setting it up.

The interception pass by widdop was school boy standard, so do we drop him too ?
One of the greatest coaches of all time selected lomax, so I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing .

Well lets see what one of the greatest coaches of all times does not next weekend, but against Australia, I feel certain he knows now some of Saturday's team are simply not good enough! and on Saturday's performance they will walk over us.

| Lomax missed a bad tackle. Unfortunately that will stick in people's minds, but otherwise he had a decent game, I though.
