Obviously I'm biased, but even with my level head on, I'd agree with this, except if Wire make the Final we will win regardless of who we play. Not being big headed about this, because I've been watching RL for 32 years and I know when we have been poop beyond belief & I know when we've been brill (2011). We are not as good as 2011, but this Saturday against Leeds we will have a virtual full strength squad to choose from apart from Ben Evans who is no more than 3 weeks away. TS has managed his squad to perfection so that all our players are fit and ready for the big games to come ( I know luck does play some part in this).
I have been saying since February that the G/F will be a repeat, my belief has been blown off course a few times, particularly early season when Wire were 3rd from bottom & playing awful Rugby. If Walsh, Lomax & Roby had all been fit now, then it would be any 2 from Us, Saints or Wigan for the G/F. Leeds have never been in my serious reckoning.

| St Helens (34 - 236) - Wakefield, Leeds, Warrington, Huddersfield
Wigan (32 - 400) - Hull KR, Widnes, Leeds, Warrington.
Leeds (32 - 289) - London, St Helens, Wigan, Hull FC.
Castleford (32 - 273) - Warrington, Bradford, Wakefield, Catalan.
Warrington (30 - 217) - Castleford, Huddersfield, St Helens, Wigan.
Huddersfield (30 - 134) - Widnes, Warrington, Hull FC, St Helens.
Castleford have the best run in, play today vs London. They'll be two points behind providing they win today, you'd expect vs London a big points for too.
Not sure how they'll do it for final game of season when Wigan play Thursday, Leeds play Friday, Castleford play Saturday and St Helens play Sunday.
EDITED - after Castleford, Huddersfield played Today.

| Usually very optimistic but if we win any of our remaining games I'll be surprised.

| Looking at them fixtures id say Cas have a great chance of getting the Hub.
If saints don't win it (no chance IMO) then I'd like cas to take it.

| We need Warrington to beat Castleford and Wigan, then Wigan to beat Leeds.
Saints can only lose one more game if the above happens to get top spot.

Looking at that fixture list it is well within the realms of possibility that we could end up 6th, and even including in that a win against Wakefield.

| I don't think 6th is mathematically possible with the combination of games even if we lost everyone.
But I could be mistaken.

Taken from the Wigan site.
Quote bewareshadows="Frosties."Be interesting to see what happens if it does go down to the final day. Wigan v Warrington Thursday, Hull FC v Leeds Friday, Catalan v Castleford Saturday and Huddersfield v St Helens Sunday.
Especially if table is like this:
St Helens (36) - Wakefield L Leeds W Warrington L Huddersfield
Wigan (36) - Hull KR W Widnes W Leeds L, Warrington.
Leeds (36) - London W, St Helens L Wigan W, Hull FC.
Castleford (36) - Warrington L, Bradford W Wakefield W, Catalan.
Warrington (36) - Castleford W, Huddersfield W, St Helens W, Wigan.
Huddersfield (34) - Widnes W, Warrington L, Hull FC W, St Helens.
Same for eighth spot too with Salford v Widnes Friday, Wakefield v Hull KR Sunday.'"
That would be fun!!

| Shouldn't the thread title be changed to "Impossible to finish top", given our customary implosion due to practically all our key players being out injured and Brown trying to force square pegs into round holes?

We don,t usually have an implosion at the end of the fixture season, sometimes we are slow starters or the occasional mid season slump, its different this year in that our results are not predictable due to our Jeckyll and Hyde performances. My opinion is that we need to win 2 games to finish in the top 4.
With Roby being our last surviving playmaker, if the opposition shut him down then we are in trouble to create anything of significance.
We are 3 points better at the moment than our Superleague 13 standing which might suggest the game is weaker and levelling out.
