Any chance of Lomax making an early return?

| No chance of Lomax coming back any time soon he only recently had his operation according to a recent tweet.
Our options are pretty limited and emphasise why we need to get a stand off in next year.
Turner isn't a 6, Wellens can do a job but isn't ideal, same with Wilkin. Wheeler probably is the best option in terms of he is a natural 6, but he is the most unreliable of all of our options.
Get well soon Lance, we're gonna need you and Walsh fit for the play offs.

He did it during the Bradford match and the London match.

Like I said he has done very little tinkering over the 20+ games so far this season, in the Bradford game he messed up the whole backline when giving Roby a rest.
Overall he has been fairly consistent, having Walsh and Lance missing big chucks of the season doesn't help the cause though.

| Forget Wheels, its pointless to even try.
There's only two sensible options for me.
1) Play WIlkin at 6. He has experience there, has a kicking game and playing him along side Walsh should hopefully help improve this side of his game.
2) Play a youngster like Charnock.

I agree on those 2 options, perhaps give Charnock a game against against Wakefield to see how he fits into the team structure.

| I highly doubt Charnock will play this season.
Wheeler will play 6 on Friday alongside Walsh.

| Gary Wheeler really is on his last chance I feel. Any sort of breakdown now resulting in a lengthy absence will bring his Saints career to a end..
