I thought Saints lacked concentration at times tonight.

We scored two early trys and then got all cocky and started trying to play razzle dazzle. As a result we started dropping the ball and making errors.

It was noticeable that after the half time team talk once Walmsley had come back on the field, we started playing a structured game again. In doing so we then started taking Hull KR to the cleaners.

It was interesting to see also how they plan to use Masoe eg 10 mins before and after half time and then the last 10 mins of the game. Just a pity the guys is about 2 months away from being fit and so is being carried at present.

Walsh's offensive kicking game was outstanding though.

I was somewhat concerned at the end though to see him go off injured with what looked like an arm injury. Lomax was also limping around the park.

Luke Walsh kicking game was the best ive seen tonight. We have a fantastic player on our hands and 2 England internationals in Amor and Walmsley

Is it just me who thinks Turner seems to be struggling this season.

Walsh and Wilkin have kicked well all year.

He doesn't seem as much of a threat close to the line as last season.

I think that's the trouble of going from the only real threat to one of many!

I think he took a bit of a knock to the head against hull and Salford so he's not at 100% - he's still been very good at straightening up and releasing makinson (whose on fire) - the Walsh try vs Salford for example, so I'm sure he'll pick up as we move further into the season!

EDIT: he's still playing better than this time last year!!

He,s been making more breaks from his own half this season so far, I also think he,s working with Makinson much better and giving his winger more opportunities.
We,ve alo got Walshy with his offensive in the corner kicks for the wingers missing out the centres at times.

I think Turner is the same as last year. He's a decent centre.

What was the crowd tonight ? Didn't see or hear it announced at the game but was queuing to get in which isn't usually the case.

A concern for me is how we can create so many opportunities but only score 12 points from it and that failure to do that could have cost us against a better team
