| Quote Carlos Alberto="Carlos Alberto"To all the people complaining that he isn't a half or a prop; you do realise the whole squad needs revitalising. Ade and Meli should not be here next year, and we can't keep using the wing spots to blood kids.
We need pace in the backs.'"
We often have used the wing spot to blood a young centre, half or full back, but do we have any good player in the reserve ranks who are actually wingers?

| Pace to burn, not afraid to take a man on and 25 years old.
Not even a second thought needs to be had.

| Can't see him leaving Salford to be honest. He will get a much better offer than he is on money wise and were going to be on the up. Think if we are talking about bringing world class players in we should be holding onto the ones we have. Also as prviously stated the MEN is really hit and miss on its RL news so who knows.

Backed up by Swift, Wheeler and Jones? That could be a very exciting back line if they got the right ball.

I'd say Jones would be used more in the back-row. But yes, looks very quick, exciting and British.
Just need to sort out the halves and the forwards!

As you say, we [ijust [/ineed our halves sorting and to replace our front row dead wood.

That looks exciting.
I wonder, though, have Saints ever produced good young wingers of their own?

Joey Hayes is the last one I can think of. When he first broke into the side he was fast and powerful, but an injury seemed to see him off. That's about it as far as my 21 years watching Saints goes.

| Could this just be a fund raiser by his agent???
NRL players used to do this, find a club say you are talking to them and get a bump in your wage packet???
