it also has a player from ireland....pat richards, from ozzie rd, dublin.
the way players can swap they sides is a joke and is making RL a joke world wide, with the kewi picking to play for NSW because his fav colour is blue.
need to go back to basics, where you were born or down to your grandparents and once you pick thats it

| Personally I don't like it, but it does not make RL a laughing stock, it just shows how simple it is to gain a national residency. If this sends you bonkers, then please don't read the rules on what you need to do to get benefits in the UK.
I'd much rather it be a case of you hand one passport in to get a new one. ie you can only be a national in one place. But the law is pretty clear and to have sport require more than the law with regards to nationality would be silly.
But it's swings and round abouts and we have to get used to it as with more and more global population movements, loyalty to a flag or country will become less and less important. What you can earn and where you can earn it will become more and more important.
In the end your local RL side does not have 1-13 of local lads, and once that slippery slope started from amature to professional there is no way to turn it back.

I do agree with that, definately. The problem is though (and therein lies the actual problem with the international game) that we have the top 3, and then a "second tier" of teams like France/Wales/Scotland etc. These teams need regular top level competition to make it actually worthwhile playing for them. Take Wales in the 4 nations, got a lot of good young players who will hopefully stick with them if they keep getting to play at Wembley and the like.

| Exiles side consisting of foreign players currently playing in the English Super League competition.[1
It does not state what foreign means.
One interesting point what happened to voting for players to play in the squad?????
Or is that another 1 year, 1 trick pony from the RFL. A bit like expanding the game in Wales, etc.
