That was definitely the case but Leeds played exceptionally well in the first half. We couldn't get to grips with their speed at the PTB and when we did in the second half we came into it.

We played very well in the second half until that needless Moore penalty but overall I thought the quality of the game was very good and certainly one of the best Grand Finals there's been so I'm pleased everybody got to see a great game. Some of the rugby that Leeds played was brilliant and they are worthy champions on the back of what happened at Old Trafford. I don't think any other team would have beaten us tonight which is more a statement about the quality of Leeds adventure than it is about any other team.

You should be very proud of ourselves most Hull fans were rooting for you and giving kids a genuine chance is fantastic

It's a good job Leeds don't make up the England team then isn't it, infact they don't even have a single player in the dream team.

Very proud too. A new coach. Playing our 'home' games on the road. Lots of injurys. No Keiron, lots of young players feeling their way AND we've still competed for honours.

Doubt very much some other clubs would have done the same in similar circumstances.
