He looked like a seasoned pro, great confidence to give Carmont the outside then drag the old buggar into touch.

He's made a couple of errors during the year but he looks like a really good prospect and had a strong game yesterday. Physically he's well developed and because he's quick he's able to return the ball strongly, certainly better than Jamie Foster who gets alot of plaudits. He's definitely one for the future, whether that be on the wing or in another of the three quarter positions, but he's one of the better kids we've got coming through. An excellent debut season so far and will only get better.

IMO he's a better player than Jamie. Jamie has let few things creep into his game over last month or so.

He's grabbing to much in defence, using hands and no shoulders. He's also become little suspect under the high kick.

I just feel he needs to up a few gears before he gets caught out.

Jamie's lost his way a bit but he's also a young guy in his first full season and has had to deal with a lot of attention and a number of high pressure games. I think some fans can forget how inexperienced Jamie is really because he is such a gifted kicker and therefore so vital to us (although based on the Quins performance, Makinson looks to be promising in that respect too). He's full of enthusiasm, works hard and hopefully he'll work more on his defence in the future.

I wasn't having a dig at Jamie, just feel he needs to switch on again now as it's the business part of the year and we've been burned before by dodgy wing play.

The is no doubt he can tackle and he's shown he's safe under the kick but IMO needs to get back to what he was few month back.

I think keeping gardner will keep both in check. Next seasn we may use more than one kicker therefore kicking alone will not be enough. If they lose track then Gardner is there ready to take the spot off them.
