Yeah that's what I was referring too. It was fairly even but when Puletua and Graham both went off we were dominated.

But remember, though, that we lost three players to injury during that match and so our rotation was fooked up. Also, was Perry playing in that match? I've lost track of our injuries so I can't remember.

No he wasn't, you're right there was a lot more factors to the game. We were effectively left with LMS and Magennis as our props.

I think we can take them personally, based on the last showing. We have a near full strength pack and two actual half backs1

We can definitely beat them and I would go as far as saying we're a better team than them. It all hangs on whether the young, inexperienced halfbacks can make the key plays correctly when it matters, something it would be unfair to expect of them at such a young age. If we had Super Leon playing we would beat them just as we would have had he been fit for the Grand Final last year.

Make the same mistakes and panic like we did at Bradford and they will stuff us, they are ruthless.

Not really, I've always said that about Leon and Kyle being absent being the only reason we didn't win Super League last year. My realism, you may call it negativity, about Saints in general has been because our squad is very weak. We have so few senior players having spent the last five years releasing more senior players than we sign, leaving us short on bodies and unable to realistically compete with the like of Wigan, Wire and the Giants because of their superior squads.

That's what I'd go with. Get Flannery in to start where he's better. Soliola to come off the bench for some impact along with Magennis and Perry who hasn't been playing great. Eastmond covering the backs.

It will be interesting if it's close towards the end of the match. Wigan rested Tomkins last week, we rested Meli. I think if it's close towards the end. Tomkins could really run against tiring Saints legs.

Although to be fair the same could/should be said for Eastmond. We've just not seen any of it so far this year in his limited game time.

Weather maybe a factor too as we all know we are a dry weather team. I do reckon we have the better forwards, so with a little control from halfback we will just do it.
