The guy's an idiot and can only be helped if he wants to be helped. If he is willing to help himself some (like Hock at Wigoon seems to be doing) then I think the club should offer him support, if not get shut.

When he plays for us, I think he offers a hooking style akin to KC's in his youth - size craft and above all mobility. He still has the makings of a great player for us IMO.

Leon hasn't been in trouble since his court case a couple of years ago. If Scott has done what he is alleged to have done then he hasn't learned his lesson, as he got into trouble at Hudds for drinking. How often should a player be given chances when other players may be abiding by the rules? Drinking turns people into irresponsible and unreliable people. Already more pressure was placed upon the team on Sunday without him there.

Didn't Jason Cayless get done for the same when he was at Saints?

Personally I think it's a massive problem that people consider drink driving as being a bit daft and not very serious. You might look at it differently if you'd been affected by somebody else just being a bit daft and lost a family member.

the lads a fool to himself..i believe one ladies night he attended for one of the testimonial's a while back..(think it was mike bennet's)..he was making a complete pratt of himself and showing off....taking the mickey out of the comedian....the wife attended and said he was an embarrasment.

Plenty of young players get into this kind of thing. They can't cope with the responsibility of the routine when all their mates are out living it up and they don't realise how lucky they are. Whilst I don't condone drink driving at all, there have been plenty of players at the club with drinking problems before and I hope there is a solution that will see Scott stay at Saints.
