It really frustrated me today because today we needed to play to the conditions and we didn't. Roby had as much a part to play in that as anyone else.

I haven't said anything about him taking in the ball. I wasn't doubting his work rate. I never would do that as he always puts in 100%. It was what he did with the ball, that is what I was questioning. He didn't take it forward, he passed it out every time. Just as he ran on the blind side of the scrum every time. Predicable or what? But, he assisted in two tries and his kick down field was superb. However, like everyone else, he can't always play to the top of his game and I just happen to think that today was one of those games for him.
Jon Wilkin, however, was outstanding. |

Lomax was quite quiet IMO tonight apart from when he nearly scored, Wellens had a moment or two but was then stable. Foster and Makinson were much the same as Wellens.
Gaskell stood out for me in the backs tonight, after the swinging arm he copped on the Lynch try i dont know how he didnt have a loose jaw.

Well, IMO Foster should take the 'glory' (although I wouldn't use that word). It was his skill and temperament that snatched one point from zero, no-one else's. I prefer to give the credit where it is due. Some of our players had a dire game (and not one of them was backing up either). We dropped the ball at the most crucial of times, made stupid decisions, played summer rugby in the lashing rain ... we didn't deserve a point IMO but that's not to say I'm not extremely glad we got one. I am indeed extremely glad we got one. And it's thanks to Jamie that we did. |

I'd give more credit to Gaskell who put in a clever kick and forced the Bradford players to commit to stopping him. Kyle would have backheeled that kick over, Foster almost missed it. |
