from a wire point of view,it's not the importance of beating you just to say at last "we've done it" it more the fact it gives the side more confidence should we play you in the cup or playoffs

IMO, confidence has been the issue for Wire for about three seasons. You should have beaten us a few times in that period but your heads went down and we gotcha. However, we aren't the same team we were and we weren't at Knowsley Road and we have yet to find our feet. That gave you a real chance to beat us and overcome your confidence issue. It's done now, thank God! |

Ok, I posted yesterday saying that if we won there would be no gloating from me, and there isnt at all, enjoyed the game... However the one thing that saddened me was Eastmond at the end, your support on the whole stayed to clap the team off as they deserved (they put everything into it), I noticed Eastmond trotting off down the tunnel. That is a poor show, hope the situation is sorted soon, as he is doing nobody any favours..
Look forward to the next Wire Sts match they are always classics!
