If they stop him playing for manly what then? It looks to me like hes trying to get out of his contract.

I dont he is, but if he is not aloud to play for manly, they wont want to pay him to train, so best release him and let him come to england and play for a club who have plenty of cap space and are missing a centre and a goal kicker????

As i stated on the other thread I think Gidley has been even better for us, but he is a world class centre and goal kicker.

The man himself has said he wants to come back to the uk after his contract is over. Hes likely to come back to saints. So why get over him???

Hmm, to a room full of saints fans it's easy to get them to eat out your lap.

He was a superb player for us, a true gent off the pitch, but he is gone, and may or may not be coming back. Clutching at media fed straws to justify the "he will return" stance gets boring after two years.
