Re Myler, very good young player but only reason is being touted ahead of likes of Eastmond by some is because he is a big fish in a small pond and so stands out in a poor side. Myler IMO is no more talented at this stage than the likes of Tomkins at Wigan or Eastmond and Wheeler at Saints. The difference is that he is starting every game, and playing for the full 80 minutes.

It's funny how clubs like shudders seem to believe in him more than the club he has faithfully served. 
I definately think he is worth another two year, even if in year 2 he shares 1st team SH position with Eastmond / Myler etc.  |

He's not worthy of a 2 year contract here. That's why. We're not sentimental and this is a good thing. Personally, he can count himself lucky to be offered a one year deal with us. |

I don't know what the criticism is of Long for Friday because generally he had a good game. His kicking game was superb in terms of controlling where the game was played. Give credit to Harlequins RL for some great goal line defence before we start to pull down our own team's performance.
We were professional on Friday night and were pushed by another team that is slowly getting to grips with putting on a professional performance every week.
Friday night's game was what every Super League game should be as a minimum i.e. tight, tough and not already decided before a ball is kicked. Some Saints fans aren't getting to grips themselves about the changing nature of this competition, its intensity and its competitiveness. They sound like Wigooners expecting that every time we go out on the pitch i.e. "We have a right to win and when we don't destroy the opposition its because we were rubbish and not because our opponents played well". That's ignorance and arrogance of the highest order.
