Mugwump mocking mental illness for a second time - "You are mentally ill and I can't indulge your madness any more" Utter disgusting abusive remark from a keyboard warrior:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_44308.gif

Playing prop and being a decent prop requires a fair but if heart and commitment. When the chips are down and we need those hard yards when the opposition is smashing us requires no fear.

You don't have to be 20st and 6ft 5in to me a decent prop, it obviously helps but heart and pride in yoursef takes over that. Maybe Brown doesn't have the team foaming at the mouth coming out but these players should have pride in themselves and a will to win without any coach having to get them fired up, especially for the Wigan and Leeds game.

I'm pretty sure McDermott didn't need to fire peacock and co up for a massive cc game. I'm also pretty sure those Wigan forwards didn't need wane to do it either. Those players played for the club, fans, themselves and more importantly for each older. Team mates!

Look at the previous do called "average " fowards we've had over the years, the likes of john Harrison, Jon Neil, Julian o'neil, Roy haggerty, stanky, jonkers, Bennett etc all those wasn't great players but all had pride in the shirt, pride in their team mates and in themselves.

Look at Jordan James on Good Friday, been on the rugby league scrap heap, not a great player but plays with heart and comitmnent.

Sometimes, overseas players don't connect with the club, they don't get the history of the club and what the club means to fans. We've had our fair share of them over the years but we've also had the likes of Sia, maurie, Freddie, fairleigh that got the history of the club and loved the club and had pride in the club.

For me, Mose hasn't got pride in the club, the shirt or in himself. Win or lose he goes off with that same smile in his face. He didn't grasp the Good Friday importance like pettyborne did who came on like a train.

If you not bothered about the club, your fans and team mates like some players at every club have, but surely you have self pride to play well for yoursel so you know you did everything you can for yourself?

It's not just Mose who lacks this commitment or self pride. The are others, the likes of LmS who IMO was afraid against Wigan. I truly beeline he was afraid of taking that ball up in the first 15 mins. Obviously the is Turner and Wilkin who I feel falls into this bracket.

Back to Mose. If this huge man mountain of a guy isn't making the yards, the tackles, the busts, the off loads then it's down to either no heart or no ability. I believe he has ability and you can't coach heart into players.

The simple facts are we are not a committed team.

I was a bit gutted Wigan were not in for Masoe but thank god we weren't. The bloke could not knock the top off a custard and is a total liability in defence.

The Masoe of Penrith was lean not fat and a real danger. The Masoe we are seeing in Super League is a pudding in holiday.

I think Mose has taken some unfair criticism recently. No doubt, though, he's been rubbish so far in this game.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_47035.gif

Not watching this one tonight, given it's on a Thursday. Have been listening in, we sound patchy. Good in places, other times not doing the hard yards.

Walsh and Thompson standouts. Rest vary from okay to good. A couple (still) I'm struggling to say anything good about.

I'll say it again and no doubt ill get shot down but Sia Soliola is a decent overseas player and nothing more. He Cannot break wind let alone a tackle. Yes his defence is solid but so is Flanagan's on half the salary (i assume).

I'm not sure what people are expecting Masoe to do? Trample half the team with every carry.

He consistently made good metres tonight, all over the field, I'll be willing to bet he's one of our top metre makers when the stats are published in the morning.

His opposite number tonight was much better than Mose tonight. Mose might have done ok tonight but without knocking London, he's up against a very poor team.

I don't want a prop that will go missing against Leeds, Wigan, hudds and the wolves and then pop up with some half decent runs against a championship level time.

I'll stick by my opinion on Mose.

Saints fans over-expecting with a new signing??? Well now I've heard it all!

Tbf he had a poor first half, but he had a good stint in the second half ... Again how much that was to do with the quality of opposition is anyone's guess.

St Pete - if you're referring to vea I think he was playing in the second row, and outplaying Wilkin. Be fair to masoe, in strict sense, he was up against sylney and did his job.

He's been playing for around 10 weeks now, roughly the length of pre season. He didn't have a pre season so I'll take this as his and will judge him from what he does onwards from now, even so I think he's had a lot of uncalled for criticism.

Also, whilst Vea was his opposite number in terms of shirts, he was playing in the second row so you can't really compare the two.

I can understand what your saying about him not being for and no pre-season but I don't think his fitness is the problem. He wasn't fit against the kiwis in the works cup, in fact he was over a stone overweight but run hard, put effort in and was busting tackles.

He looks in decent shape to me but couldn't break out a paper bag. Looks very very easy to stop. I'd actually want him on the field if I was playing against him as he's a accident waiting to happen.

It's easy for opposition because when he takes it up he's alone. Ever at u13s you know to support the ball carrier and wer're not, as a result masoe gets 4/5 piled in every time he touches it, and he looks flat as a result. The few occasions tonight (and previously) he has been able to iht players 1on1 he's made very good yardage.

The more I see of this year, the less I believe individual players are the problem ...

Ok, i get that but so does Amor & walmsley but they ain't stopped in their tracks.

I just feel he lacks aggression.

Walmsley arches his runs a lot more, and spins a lot in the tackle, making it tough to get a lot of bodies in - Amor is a lot faster and better at isolating defenders and space. Masoe, and soliola, have very direct styles, that are getting picked off easily at the moment. If either gets the ball away in the tackle a couple of times to a lomax pushing through in support, the defence will hang back a little, and they'll look 10 times better for it. This is what masoe had in the World Cup - Milford on his shoulder at every chance.

I agree he lacks agression, but again could that not be said for the entire team?

So basically Mose will only be good if used correct (that will never happen each week), so if it comes down to the hard yards in tough games we might as well forget him then.

I've said all along we lack aggression and this is possibly the most soft team I've ever seen in rugby but this is the "smiling assassin", the "wreaking ball", he'd like a "human avalanche", " he's like a wall"!

He's a big name signing, who in his words "hits people before they hit me".

I think we've got another flop on our hands. I pray to god I'm wrong as I so want him to be the player we expected but I've serious doubts.
